LG has launched a new wireless charger at Mobile World Congress. Its name is WCD-800. It allows users to position their phone vertically to make video calls and send text messages, or horizontally to watch movies while charging.
And for charging, you need to simply place it on the deck of the cradle and it starts working. WCD-800 will use electromagnetic induction technique for charging.
It will work with all those devices which are compliant with the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC)’s Qi standard, which is the global standard for wireless power.
