MWC 2012 - Wrap up - Only about best

If you want to know what was best at MWC 2012 in Barcelona, so then this is the place. I am not covering all the happenings there in details but I am just providing buzzs -

Phones -

  1. Nokia 808 PureView with 41 megapixels resolution. The camera lets you snap 3MP, 5MP and 8MP photos. It is more than any high end cameras (DSLRs).
  2. Samsung's Galaxy Beam - the phone with PICO projector.  Optimal distance to project anything is 2 meters and in a dark room the quality is actually good (nHD resolution (640x360)). The Galaxy Beam will have 3 hours of battery backup in projection mode.
  3. LG's Optimus 4X HD with quad core processor and a huge 2140 mAh SIO+ battery (improved battery life).
  4. LG Optimus Vu - a competition for Samsung Galaxy Note. A phonetablet from LG. 4:3 aspect ratio for 5 inch screen.
  5. Sony Xperia P with whitemagic technology. It boosts the brightness of the display by using a fourth subpixel to the traditional RGB setup, namely a white pixel.
  6. HTC One X with 1.5GHz quad-core Tegra 3 chip and Dual Shutter camera module, which allows you to take photos while shooting 1080p video at the same time.
  7. Orange Santa Clara phone with Intel Atom Z2460 (designed for mobile world specifically by Intel)

Tablets-

  1. Samsung's Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet - big brother of Galaxy note phonetablet. It has voice calling capability and also Photoshop touch for Android.
  2. ASUS Padfone- 4.3" Padfone can be plugged into the Padfone Station and in seconds the content on the screen scales to fit the tablet's 10.1" WXGA (1280x800) display, on top of that the battery-life is extended five-fold and the front facing camera gets upped to a 1.3MP unit.
  3. Quad core tablets (power houses) - Asus Transformer Pad 300 and Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD (Huawei's proprietary quad-core K3V2 processor, clocked at 1.5 GHz, 2 GB RAM, IPS display FullHD-worthy 1920 x 1200 resolution)
