I wish I could translate other language text in my language real time. On iPhone it was possible using Word Lens app. The good news is that now this app is available for Android too.
Using this app you just have to hover your camera over the text and it translates into your language live. Google Googles has similar capability but in that app, you have to capture the text picture and then to use internet connection to translate it to your language. Word Lens does this all without internet. So it is fast.
This app is compatible with Android 2.3.3 or higher versions. It works well with words and short phrases. Another downside is that it can be pricey. It costs $4.99 for one language pack & every additional language translation comes with additional cost of $4.99 each. The only available options are currently translating to or from English to Spanish, French, or Italian. Its free demo version is also available but that is terrible & doesn't work at all.
