As you know, Chromebooks offer very little in internal storage. Soon these books will have offline google drive as Google's Sundar Pichai announced this week.
SO when users will desire to access some files offline, now they will be able to do that soon. They will be able to cache their favorite song, video clip, pictures, or some frequently used document offline to internal storage.
As Chromebooks look too pricey now a days, so to bring their cost down Google is also planning to have an ad supported chrome system.
