I am evaluating ext js in this article. I will discuss different pros/cons in this article and most importantly browser support.
Pros
1)Able to provide everything that a desktop or web application
needs all by itself, from look and feel to features.
2)Component availability
3) It has component-oriented model, which leads to a consistent
and easy to use API to build widget-based interfaces.
4) In-page popups are faster than desktop popups.Cons
1)Not advisable for
medium complexity websites.
2) Doing anything complex tends to end up with considerable
time taken dealing with IE or Safari bugs.
3) Load times are problematic.
4)Bugs tend to be browser specific bugs, which
can be exteremly time consuming to fix
