Recently Microsoft announced outlook.com, a web mail client online. Lets quickly compare its feature with web mail king Gmail.
1. Gmail has 10 GB storage limit and 25 MB limit on attachments, while outlook has nearly unlimited storage unless you appears to be spammer and it offers 100 MB limit on attachments.
2. Gmail has support for IMAP and POP both (means you can sync between multiple email clients), but outlook supports only active sync & POP.
3. Gmail integrates with Google+ only while outlook integrates with facebook, twitter & linkedin.
4. Gmail has filters, labels, & priority messages for email organization while outlook has only quick view folders like flagged, photos, office etc which gets filled automatically
5. Last but not the least thing is that outlook has clean mail centered interface while Gmail has chat integrated, bar for personalized ads etc in addition to emails.
