Now a days I am using Google+ Hangouts for doing my meetings with friends or office team. It is amazing tool which provides Video chat room which allows up to 10 people to meet in a conversation together.
Other than this, screen sharing is also available as built in feature which you can use to share your screen with others in meeting. Though you cant remote control someone's computer. You can enable screen share just by clicking the option on top of your screen while doing Hangout.
There are some other useful tools which are available for hangouts but one of those I like is - SlideShare. Slide share helps you in creating presentations & can also share these presentations with others in meeting. It is very simple & easy to use tool.
