You can create any task on this website using channels like  blogger, facebook, facebook pages, twitter, you tube, flickr, wordpress, sms, instagram, evernote etc. For example-

I want to update my facebook page status whenever I post on my blogger.

so according to if this than that - this is trigger and that should be action. In our case blogger channel is trigger and facebook page channel is action. So while creating task on ifttt, I will choose my channels accordingly on clicking this and that. Each channel have no of options which you can choose. You can also edit these tasks later on, do on/off, check logs like how many time it executed, delete etc.
