"Uninstall not successful" on android?

I have an application "tektrak" on my Android smartphone which is not getting uninstalled. When I try to uninstall it, I get the following message -

Uninstall not successful....

Solution -
3 step solution for this problem  -


- go to Location & Security under settings on Android, 
- Then choose "Select device administrators" and remove the check from tektrak. This should allow you to remove it from the device. 
- now try uninstall. You will find it works :) 


Note - (this solution works in case if you find same problem with other apps)
